Nalle Winery Dry Creek Valley Estate Old Vine Zinfandel 2015
Review
This wine is a damn Zin hero. It’s the way I always hope Old Vine zins will be: low in alcohol with earthy, tight dark berry fruit and a hint of black pepper. The palate has a fleshy, slightly weighty quality to it, and the seamless acidity running through the wine accentuates its fruit vibes. It’s only available from the website and will cost you almost $50 but dammit it's worth it for a serious grill sesh with a tight-knit crew of wine lovers.
