Castello di Cacchiano Chinati Classico Riserva DOCG 2013 Review

I’m going to write some stuff about this wine, but you should really be out there buying it, like, now. This wine defines what is magical about Chianti. The second it hits your nose you won’t know what to do with yourself and you might want to be sitting down when you sip it. If a wine has a soul you’ll taste it here in this absolutely amazing blend of native grapes of the region. When you think of the rolling hills of Chianti, sitting with the locals like family, this is the wine they would be sharing with you. Beautiful dark sour cherry fruit greets you, mingling with just the right amount of earth (like running your fingers through fertile soil) among the subtlest of balsamic. Actually I’m going to stop here because there are things going that can’t be written out you just have to experience them for yourself. Go buy this wine.
